Reverend Ronald E. Stoker
Ron Stoker
has ministered at New Hope since 2007 and in
other churches for the past decade. He is a
graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary
and studied archaeology at the Jerusalem
Biblical University. While serving as pastor
at Westminster Presbyterian Church in
Alabama, Ron taught history, religion and
philosophy at Troy University and Huntingdon
College.
 His enthusiastic style encourages people to
be friendly, sermons to be inspiring, and
hymns to be uplifting. He enjoys getting out
in the community through coaching youth
athletics and leading worship in nursing
homes. To support his personal growth, Ron
has attended graduate studies at Duke
Divinity School.
He and his wife, Dawn, married in 1997 and
now have two sons, Clayton and Sullivan, as
well as an extroverted Brittany spaniel,
Noah. |
